Android Apps and Samsung Galaxy Tab S: Portrait and Landscape transposed

Today i faced a big problem: The Samsung Galaxy Tab S

The Layout of my Android Application worked on every Smartphone or Tablet until now. The reason for that is simple: The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is interchanging the Portrait and the Landscape mode. So what a Portrait mode is on a normal Smartphone/Tablet is the Landscape mode on Galaxy Tab S and what a Landscape mode is on a normal Smartphone/Tablet is the Portrait mode on Galaxy Tab S.

Did you face that problem too? How did you solve it?

Is it smart to just define a special layout and to put the landscape layouts into the protrait files?
